Brand Photography for Female Founders: Health Coach Holly

As a brand photographer for female founders, I love helping women bring their vision to life through thoughtful brand photography and lifestyle imagery. When you’re building a personal brand, the images you share should reflect who you are, how you work and how clients will feel when they work with you. That was exactly the focus of my recent shoot with Health Coach Holly, who is at the very beginning of an exciting new chapter in her business.

Holly is working with Nicola Roberts Agency, who are crafting a brand identity that feels confident, calm and timeless. Those three words perfectly reflect Holly’s approach to health coaching. She helps women achieve sustainable fat loss and long-term health through realistic habits that fit into real life, without pressure or perfection.

Planning the Shoot

After Holly completed my in-depth brand questionnaire, we explored locations that would support the direction of her brand. Holly wanted imagery that felt relaxed, lifestyle-led and not corporate in any way.

From there, I pulled together a simple creative direction and we structured the shoot around three key categories:

Portraits – confident, feminine and authentic. Nothing overly “boss-babe”, just strong, natural portraits.

Lifestyle & wellness moments – relaxed imagery that reflects balance, movement and Holly’s calm approach to health.

Nutrition & kitchen scenes – nutrition is a key part of Holly’s work, so kitchen imagery and food moments felt essential.

Creating a Calm, Trustworthy Feel

One thing Holly shared was that she wants people to feel relief, clarity, confidence and trust when they connect with her brand.

That became the thread running through the whole shoot. From the warm neutral colour palette to the relaxed pacing of the session, everything was designed to create imagery that feels natural and approachable.

Making the Most of the Time

Holly booked my Essential Session, which gives us three hours to work strategically.

We broke the shoot down into 30-minute segments, moving through each category while adding multiple outfit changes to create variety. Careful planning like this means clients walk away with a gallery that can support their website, Instagram, speaking opportunities and future launches.

Brand Photography That Grows With You

Holly is just getting started, but she already has big plans for the future, including group coaching and retreats.

These images now form the visual foundation of her brand.
