One of the things I love most about being a brand photographer for female founders is getting to grow alongside the businesses I work with. Some clients come back again and again as their brand evolves, and over time the relationship becomes something more than just work.

That’s exactly how it’s been working with Melinda, the founder of Lasenda. I’ve been photographing her brand for a few years now. Watching Lasenda grow into the beautiful, thoughtful wellness brand it is today has been such a joy.

If you haven’t come across it before, Lasenda creates luxury wellness retreats and curated experiences designed to bring people back into alignment with themselves. Over the years we’ve worked intentionally on building a library of brand photography that reflects that vision. Not just portraits of Melinda, but imagery that captures the heart of the brand. The community, the experiences, the retreats, and the energy of the people who come together through Lasenda.

At the beginning of this year I had the chance to photograph one of their London events, Axis (which took place at the stunning Shangri-La at The Shard. It was a one-day immersion designed for leaders, entrepreneurs, creatives and change-makers.

The room was full of thoughtful conversation, shared experiences and those quiet moments of reflection that always seem to happen when people step away from their busy lives and really tune in.

One of the highlights of the day was guest speaker Roxie Nafousi, whose work around mindset resonated deeply with the audience.

From a brand photography perspective, these kinds of events are so powerful to capture. They show the brand in motion. The people, the connection, the atmosphere. For female founders building a purpose-driven brand, this kind of imagery becomes invaluable. It tells the deeper story behind the work and allows future clients to truly feel what it’s like to be part of the experience.
