First impressions are everything. Consumers shop with their eyes, and it’s more important now than ever to stop the scroll and make an impact.

There’s far more to your brand than just a product. The brands that truly connect - that capture hearts - are the ones with personality, purpose and presence.

CREATIVE DIRECTION and STYLING SUPPORT.

Beautifully styled imagery and video, can set you apart in an endless scroll of content. It's the small, thoughtful details that spark recognition and create lasting connection.

Some shoots call for deeper creative support - whether that’s in the form of styling, direction or a more elevated visual approach. When that’s the case, I bring in trusted collaborators to help shape the bigger picture.

These shoots go beyond surface-level visuals. They’re intentional, story-led and crafted to reflect your brand at its most considered and compelling.

Powerful imagery doesn’t happen by accident. It comes from alignment, collaboration and clarity - and I’m here to help guide you through it all.

  • PRE-SHOOT

I want to know everything about your brand and the creative vision you have for it. Before your shoot, you will receive a questionnaire, which will really help me to delve deep and get an established understanding of you and your business. I'll also ask you to provide me with a selection of inspiring images that best represent what you’re hoping to achieve from the shoot.

Myself and the Creative Director will come together to build out a concept and create a mood board for your shoot, which you'll have the opportunity to review and approve. You'll be involved every step of the way, helping us to carve out a vision for your shoot that gets the very best out of your products or services.

After the concept and mood board has been approved, the stylist will get to work sourcing props and pulling together a shot list. In the meantime, we'll ask that you ensure that all of your products arrive with us in good time, ready for shoot day!

    SHOOT DAY

We'll arrive with a car full of treats in tow, either at the studio or on location. Once the props have been unpacked, we'll spend some time looking over the space and talking through the brief and shot list before getting to work.

If you are present at the shoot, we will brief you on the plan for the day and the set-ups/ outfits we’d like to start with. It’s a great idea to ensure all of your outfit changes are hung up, ironed and accessible. Limitations on the day may mean we need to stick to strict timings; this could include daylight hours, number of products, or location house availability.

The day can be extremely fast-paced, so we always recommend you bring snacks to get you through. Don't worry, there will be allocated downtime for us all to reset and recharge. When we are happy that we have got all the shots, we'll get the site put back to exactly how we found it.

  • After your shoot, each image is individually edited to perfection in my signature style, and is then uploaded to your own private online gallery to view at your own pace.

7 days after your shoot, you'll receive your gallery of images. Now is your chance to select your favourites from the shoot; you'll have 7 days to choose your images, and there are options to purchase extras if you feel you need them.

After you've chosen your favourites, I’ll give your images the final check and then send them over to you — hurray! You're ready to show up, build connections and showcase the heart and soul of your brand with confidence.

  • What are the benefits of having a stylist on board?

There are so many benefits to having a professional stylist involved in your shoot. A stylist brings an acute level of attention to detail to the shoot, and adds layers you would have never known existed had you not started looking for them! Every last detail surrounding you and your product is carefully considered and placed, creating visually balanced imagery that your audience can resonate with and feel connected to.

Working with a stylist reduces the overwhelm and alleviates your stress and workload. They can take on a primary or supporting role in the planning and preparation stages of the shoot, and provide you with the exact level of support you feel you need to get the best out of your investment.

    Where do sessions take place?

Personal branding shoots can take place just about anywhere — your place of work, a photography studio, your home. There are few limitations as long as there is plenty of light, space and the aesthetic is in keeping with what you want to achieve, and there are plenty of options to hire out a beautiful space for your session. This is booked separately from your shoot, so please allocate extra budget. Don’t worry if you're struggling with this part — we’re here to help you find that perfect location!

How far in advance should I book my shoot with you?

It’s always best to work backwards. Decide when you want to launch your new imagery, and go back at least six weeks from there. There’s a lot that goes into the planning of a shoot (and preparation is key!). Throughout the year we occasionally have some last-minute availability, so it’s worth checking if you’re on a tight time schedule.

I know the importance of brand imagery, but I have no idea where to start. Can you help?

Of course! When you book a session with me, you’ll receive a questionnaire that will help me find out all about you, your brand and your customers. Having a clear framework of who we want the images to speak to makes things much easier. I can offer as much or little direction as you need, and will support you through the whole process. A successful brand shoot is a highly collaborative endeavour, and I place huge value on working together to create something wonderful.

Will I need to buy lots of props?

Firstly, we want you to know that by having a stylist on board, your prop stress search has reduced dramatically! Stylists hold a brilliant selection of props, and if they don’t have it, they will source it.

    But what is chargeable?

In our experience, perishable items such as food and flowers are included in almost every shoot. They speak a universal language — we can all relate to a buttery croissant to represent a lazy morning! Perishable items like this are chargeable and will be added on at the time of invoice. This is essentially a non-negotiable cost.

Ordinarily, most props are included in the cost, but in some cases the stylists may have to invest in key pieces or props outside of their collection to really achieve your desired look. If this is clear during the planning stages, we'll talk you through your options, and we can discuss a contingency for your budget.
