I studied Photography at Nottingham Trent University and I can honestly say it wasn’t until I had children that I actually found a genre of photography that spoke to me and that I fell in love with.
I will never forget the moment I met my babies for the first time. My heart was forever changed and they are my greatest achievement in life.
Raising a family is hard work. From the moment you find out you’re pregnant, right through to navigating nursery and school placements, everything changes. And like my mum always told me, it’s the toughest job in the world.
When everything is stripped away; the sleepless nights, the tantrums, the colicky baby, the loneliness, the things that make life hard during the season of raising babies, there is a fierce love that holds everything together - and that is the very thing I want to capture.
