The Process

My process

Your time is precious and your life is busy. It’s been niggling in your mind for some time to book a photo shoot - so well done, you’re nearly there! From booking me to receiving your images, I make things really easy. I want to take away any hesitations you have and replace them with beautiful images of the people that matter the most.

Expect the process to go a little something like this:

  • After initial enquiry, we’ll arrange a date for your shoot.

  • We’ve decided on a date, I’ll now send you a booking form and instructions on how to pay.

  • I’ll direct you to a private client area, where your personal questionnaire awaits. This will help me to tailor the shoot to your needs and help me to get to know you.

  • Within the private client area, you’ll find useful tips on what to wear, how to prepare and a useful video explaining how to view your images after the shoot.

  • Shoot day: Sessions last between 1-2 hours (depending on which you’ve booked).

  • The wait is over! 1 week after your session, you’ll receive a link to your gallery.

  • Galleries will be online for a few weeks after your shoot. Image choices and any products can be ordered within this time. But don’t worry, I’ll send you some reminders of how long the gallery is live, how long left you have to order and any items you’ve left in your shopping cart.

In-home session

My lifestyle approach removes expectations of ‘well-behaved’ children. I have a really relaxed approach and I give you freedom to be yourselves, in an environment you feel most comfortable in. 

A typical family session will be held in either your home or outside in a beautiful location. Outdoor sessions allow plenty of space for children to run free and have fun. If you choose an in-home session, it doesn't matter the style of your home, just as long as there is some good, natural light. I'm there to document you as a family, rather than focus on the interior.

I take lots of photos during your session, but only pick the best of the best to add to your gallery. These are all individually edited to ensure you love each and every one of them. I typically deliver between 80-100 images to help tell your story.
